By using thicket, you agree to these terms. This is a pilot-stage app: treat it accordingly.
The app
thicket helps you discover and check in at public parks. Check-ins, XP, and achievements are for fun and engagement: they carry no monetary value and aren't redeemable for anything outside the app.
Your account
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Don't impersonate anyone, submit false check-ins, or otherwise try to falsify your location or activity.
Content you submit
Photos, reviews, ratings, park submissions, and issue reports you submit should be your own, accurate to your knowledge, and not harmful or offensive. We may remove content or restrict accounts that don't meet this.
Be careful out there
thicket tells you about public parks. It doesn't control them. Trail conditions, weather, wildlife, and park rules are your responsibility to check before you go. Use the app only when it's safe to do so, not while driving.
No warranty
thicket is provided "as is," during an active pilot, without warranties of any kind. Park data, hours, and conditions may be inaccurate or out of date. We work to keep things correct but can't guarantee it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, thicket and its operators aren't liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or your visits to parks it lists.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms, or suspend/terminate accounts that violate them, as the pilot evolves. We'll reflect meaningful changes here with an updated date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
